Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) is one of the mission ventures of the Syro Malabar Church. started on October 3rd,1947 as a lay initiative to promote the missionary zeal among the members of the Church, especially children and youngsters. CML was thus started for promoting indigenous vocations to priesthood and consecrated life in the Catholic Church. The children carry on the work of St. Theresa, the Little Flower of Lisieux, by demonstrating faith, hope, and love in their daily actions and by serving society in all ways possible. All catechism children who had received Holy Communion are members of the mission league. As young kids under the process of faith formation, CML is a platform to practice what they learn in religious education classes and so.
The official slogan is "Love, Sacrifice, Service, Suffering”.
Love: God’s love was unconditional one filled with mercy.
Sacrifice: Jesus Christ set the example of Supreme Sacrifice. The love to fellow being is tested on the rubbing stone of sacrifice.
Service: The call to be a Christian is to serve the community and the society in all possible ways.
